Subject: The installation of Domino Web Access 8 Control has been blocked or declined by the user.
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Domino Web Access (DWA)
Technical Area: User Interface
Platform: Windows XP client
Release: 8.0.2
Reproducible: Always
"The installation of Domino Web Access 8 Control has been blocked or declined by the user. Do you want to use this on subsequent Domino Web Access pages?"
Pop-up box has "OK" and "Cancel" as options, and it makes no difference whatpoever which one you click. You still get the message again each time you open a view or document.
This message appears on on some PC's, not on others. Have not been able to identify what factor is different. IE7 on Win XP. Pop-up blockers are disabled. DWA address is in the trusted sites list. ActiveX is enabled.
Attempting to install the Web Access Control from the Preferences option returns: "Loading Domino Web Access Control.... Failure. The Domino Web Access Control has been blocked or was not installed."
Suggestions? (Other than using Firefox)
